Great video! However, it's worth mentioning that Peles Castle is not in Transylvania. Sinaia is located in Prahova county, in Wallachia. Northern Wallachia but still Wallachia. Bran Castle, on the other hand, in southern Transylvania, had exactly this strategic position near the border of the two regions.

We are heading to Florence tomorrow for one month and slow traveling for 7 months before heading home for the winter holidays. Thank you for your inspiration and videos. We retired early one month ago to slow travel and you have been a huge part of our journey to FIRE and the slow travel lifestyle. In Portugal do not loose your time ordering a "late" for coffee.Please, order a "Galao directo" and you will have the best experience of coffee. If by any chance you would prefer a small one, then ask for a "meia de leite". Ask for it "directo" and they will pour the coffee from the machine directely on top of hot milk.

I heard that Westerners eat hamburgers, fries, fried chicken, Coke, sandwiches, coffee, pasta, pizza, hotdog , steak cereal, bread, and milk for three meals a day. Is this true? Or do Americans and Europeans eat differently?

Lisbon is an absolute gem of a city. To be honest the whole of Portugal is amazing. I’ve been there over 15 times and every time it just gets better.

I stayed in the Alfama last August for my first ever trip to Lisbon. I’m from the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and have Portuguese parents (from the Azores). That first trip for me was more than just a cool place to be, but a discovery and a huge expansion of appreciation for the culture that my parents came from. I made a point of staying in the Alfama, not only to experience its narrow streets, but to listen to fado, the music my parents would listen to on the radio at the end of a long work week. Hearing the “fadistas” in the distance while I layed my head down after a long day on foot took me back to the sounds of my childhood. I learned so much, and I’ve developed a full blown love affair with the culture of my parents and ancestors. The history, the architecture, the language, the music, the food, and most importantly, the people. I will be back, not just to see Lisbon, but to see more of Portugal itself. The biggest emotional impact for me, was the Sé - Lisbon’s Cathedral. Once I toured it, and found out how old it was, I found myself wanting everyday to walk by it, touch its walls, and whenever possible, eat a meal within its shadow. Thanks for bringing back great memories of that trip, and I intend to make many more.

So in 2 years prices have increased incredibly. Agora museum visit now (apr 2024) costs around 8$ Per person for foreigners . Ephesus costs now (apr 2024) 32$ per person for foreigners. just letting your viewers know that its like that. try first agora if you like it then try Ephesus. because agora is a mini version of same greek architecture. you dont have to spend alot of you didnt like that architecture and go to ephesus.

Asia is a favorite place for full-time travelers. Such as Thailand. Malaysia. Singapore. Philippines. Indonesia. China Japan. South Korea and Taiwan
